We offer a Jr. kindergarten program as a service for younger siblings and those ready to start a part-time classroom experience. However our classical education begins at the kindergarten level. Our Jr K is play based, and does not follow the classical model. Our Jr. K is not accredited thus these students are not eligible for scholarships or the tuition tax credit.

Curriculum fees cover the cost of all needed materials used at St. Sophia, from workbooks purchased from Memoria Press, to class sets of novels read in class.

Yes. St. Sophia is an accredited private school approved by the tax commission to receive funds from the Oklahoma parental choice tax credit. Students attending St. Sophia in kindergarten and above who are interested apply through the process at https://www.parentalchoice.ok.gov. If approved tuition funds are sent directly to the school to cover the cost of a student’s education at St. Sophia.
The total cost of fees + tuition is the total cost to attend St. Sophia that will be reported to the tax commission. Curriculum fees would be covered by the tuition tax credit if your family qualifies based on income. Families are responsible for curriculum fees June 1st of every year.
The tuition tax credit is based on income:
